WordPress Profile & Website Thumbnail Issue

Hello,

This is a bit of a strange problem. I have recently created a profile on WordPress.com and when you add a website to your profile bio the site gets scanned and WordPress gets a small snapshot image of your website homepage.

However, when I add my website it brings up a 404 icon in the thumbnail instead. I’m wondering if there are any underlying issues here to why it cannot produce a thumbnail image of my website?

Any guidance would be extremely appreciated.
