i am not sure which version you are using, just checking excerpt issue seems to be working fine here,
Also, “Slider dots” issue fixed in latest version. Please try latest version 1.13.5 and let me know the result.

I’m using Version 1.13.5, you’re right about the “Slider dots”, but I’m still seeing the same text regardless of whether I select ‘content’ or ‘excerpt’.
Here’s how it should look, hover over the large slider with 3 products about half way down the page. (I’m using the old version 2.2.37 on my live site at the moment).

Note the text on the live site is from the product excerpt and describes the product, whereas on the new version it’s from the product content and describes the grading guide and image scans.

We have added product “Short description” in the content source, could you please try this and let me know the result.
