Hi, are you talking about the following addon simple-membership-bulk-import-member-data-csv-file?
Thank you
Hi, have you imported the users from the CSV file yet? If you have, did the users imported get a WP User account created as well?
Regards
Hi, I did a test import of members, which I supposed I should have just done in the first place before starting this thread(!), and everything worked correctly – users were generated for each member imported etc.
The only thing really worth mentioning is that it would be good if you could send a custom email to people being imported, instead it uses the confirmation email from the main plugin email settings.
The confirmation email that goes out on membership import also does not seem to support HTML, even though it is enabled on the main plugin email settings page where it pulls the confirmation template from. The template works when signing up through the website frontend, this is an issue specifically when the same template is sent out on membership import.
I of course am getting around all of this by just replacing the confirmation template with a custom message (not containing HTML) for the members being imported and then I will change it back after.
Besides these small things this is a fantastic plugin so far, I am purchasing some of the addons to hopefully help support you, and I especially love the great support you have shown with this and other “issues”.
Hi, thank you for your kind and nice words 🙂
In regards to your question, I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your request.
Enjoy the plugin.
Kind regards
Thank you.
The HTML email option was added somewhat recently to our main plugin. The bulk import members addon needed an update to work with that HTML email option. We have just updated the addon so it should be resolved now.
