Breadcrumb does not update when page is duplicated

    Hi Rank Math,

    I’m using Elementor and the Hello theme. For Elementor I’m using the “Essential Addons” plugin. All on the latest versions. In this plugin, there is a Duplicator cloning Page/Post function. When using this, the [rank_math_breadcrumb] shortcode always displays the breadcrumb of the original Page/post, it does not update to the new one.

    For example, I have an Africa Page that I want to Duplicate to a Europe Page. The Breadcrumb in the original Africa Page is Home / Continent / Africa. I then Duplicate Africa and change the Page Name (and everything else relevant) to Europe. After saving the Breadcrumb will still show Africa, and not Europe as it should.

    I do not know how to find out if this is a Rank Math problem or an Essential Addons problem?

    Appreciate your detailed explanation. By the looks of it, it seems like an incompatibility issue from the addon plugin you are using since this feature is not built in the Elementor plugin and Rank Math also doesn’t offer it.

    We would request you to please get in touch with the developers of the plugin to resolve the issue and add the compatibility for the Rank Math plugin.

    Firstly, to confirm that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Enable only the 3 plugins in question with the default theme and if you are able to reproduce the issue, then contact the plugin developer.

    Thank you for your response. I made the same conclusion and have already made contact with them. Following your troubleshooting advice, I was still able to reproduce the error.
