show posts on hompage after certain time

    Hi guys I have a problem.
    Basically I know how to get the last posts from my users.
    However I want a code so that only posts that have been done after the last 6 posts are printed. example.
    last posts 1-6 not dsplayed
    last posts 7-20 diplayed.
    how can I do this can someone please help
