alignment differs between firefox and IE

    Hi, I know I’m not the first one to have this problem, but I’m having a hard time understanding the answers in previous posts.

    I have inserted a table into a page, and would like to see this centered. It looks fine in IE, but in Firefox it’s still aligned to the left.

    I fixed it! In the post’s html, I added “margin: auto;” to the table style.

    I don’t know why it worked, because I don’t know what I’m doing. 🙂
