Woocommerce Customer Password Only Works One Time

    My woocommerce customers are unable to log into their account after using their password once. They are receiving a wrong password error after the first use. Then the reset password option is telling them it is only available for logged in users. Any ideas?

    You may want to disable the captcha and if you have any login limiting software/plugin I’d disable them as well. Chances are you have security way too tight.

    I installed the re-captcha because I was getting spammed with fake registrations.

    Thanks for this. Do you have the ability to create a staged version of your site? Ask your host ARVIXE if they can create that for you and I would suggest testing over there.

    If not, then put your site in Maintenance Mode using a plugin of that sort.

    Disable
    Start with the registration plugin Woocommerce Extra Fields Registration.
    Then WooCommerce Membership plugin. There’s also an update for this one. Should test on staged server first though before updating.

    If you still are experiencing issues after all this I suggest temporarily switching back to a Storefront or TwentyTwenty theme to test. Then switch back.

    As for the Captcha. I say that only for testing. Plus, it has a key error in console anyway. So it could be messing things up as well. If you’re not the developer it was keyed under it will need to be rekeyed.

    Hi there,

    We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this thread as resolved. @serafinnyc’s advice of doing that conflict testing is definitely the way to go! As mentioned, the issue is most likely coming from a security-related plugin like the reCaptcha plugin, or else a conflict with code in your theme or another active plugin on the site (since 1-time-only passwords for customers is certainly not usual behavior with the core WooCommerce plugin).
