Email from WP about new stable version, not getting.

    I have signed up for the email notifications at
    Wordpress.org >> Download WordPress >> Release Notification
    but I have never gotten the email.

    Perplexed, every friggin time I upgraded I saw that Release Notification and I have entered some email. I’ve tried different accounts, thinking maybe spam filters were stopping it, but ‘no’. I’ve tried it ‘logged in’ and ‘not logged in’, but ‘no’.

    What’s the deal????? Why don’t I ever get the notifications? Is this thing broken? Does anyone get them? I just noticed today that there’s a plug-in for doing this. I guess the WordPress system doesn’t work. But why? It has not sent me notifications for years now. Can’t you fix it? Or is there some option to set, or what?

    Now, I just have to log into a blog to check.
