Multiple wordpress installs and logging in

    I wasn’t sure where to post this question as it seems a little complicated.

    WE are looking at building a main site that has other related sites installed in sub directories.. NOT a multi-site install but separate installs.
    The problem is I need a way to make it so when USER A logs in, he is redirected to SITE A and USER B logs in he is redirected to SITE B as that is where they are a member.
