order button cannot be translated

    For legal reasons in the Netherlands, I had to adjust the order button, it now states “Bestelling met betaalplicht” instead of just “Bestelling plaatsen”, the standard configuration.
    However, now I need to translate that updated text in English and cannot find how to do that in support documentation. I am using TranslatePress for translations from Dutch to English on the site. So how to do this, how do I change the text of the order button for my English-speaking customers to “Order with payment obligation”

    Hi Jaco,

    When editing the original content, the translation for that word is lost.

    This is due to the way our plugin works.(string by string)

    You have to translate the order button again.

    Are you not able to find the text in the string list drop down from the translation editor?

    Hi Dragos,
    Thanks, but the problem is that TranslatePress will not let me translate that string. When I am using the plugin, the string with Bestelling met betaalplicht does not show up in the strings available for translation on the left side of the screen. Clicking on the pencil (?) icon that appears on the window in question gives the following response: “This string is not ready for translation yet.
    Try again in a moment…”
    So I just cannot translate the relevant string. For now I have just put the English translation inside the button next to the Dutch one, but that is a very inelegant and potentially confusing solution.

    Hello Jaco,

    Your translations are stroed into the wp_trp* tables from the database.

    Could you try editing that specific string directly from the database and see if it works?
