Hi @chrirelle – when you clone one of the sites in your multisite network with NS Cloner, it creates a new subsite on the same network with all the original subsite’s content and settings. So, you could name it anything – for example, backup-feb-2020.la-maltiere.com (or lamaltiere.com/backup-feb-2020 if your network is in subdirectory mode instead of subdomain mode).
The important thing to be aware of is that it’s not a true backup – everything is still stored in the same database and using the same wp-content directory, so it’s great for creating an onsite backup of a site while making some content modifications, etc, but you should *always* have a true separate offsite backup system in place as well.
Hope that helps – let us know if we can clarify anything.
Thank you very much.
I understand the use. For your information, do you know a backup plugin.
Thank you very much.
Thanks
But how do I get the site copied.
Your plugin indicates an https link…
Thanks
hello
I have a big problem : the website is online on the domain name of the copied version.
How am I doing
I’m confused.
https://la-maltiere.it
At this point, I can no longer remove the link on the home page with the wrong site, so I have two Italian flags and one that I would like to remove.
Only at the beginning of the french version.
Thank you
Hi there,
I’m not sure if your recent questions are related to Cloner anymore but if you have a specific question about using Cloner please open a new ticket, thanks!
