Problems with sorting pictures in gallery group

Hello,

i have a question about the gallery groups and the sorting.

I created two gallerys and put them together with the gallery group function.
Works fine and both gallerys displayed with the images.

Unfortunately the ordering of the pictures in the gallerys are set by “default”.
So they displayed in the wrong order.

Is it possible to show them sort by “Filename Ascending”?
This option in select in the “Insert Photo Gallery” but doesnt works.

Dear @litusail,

You can decide the order of the images inside the group.

Please make the necessary changes in the gallery options, click update and generate a new shortcode.

You can edit the page/post and make the changes there as well.

thx for the quik response.

I tried booth solutions.

First over the Options like in this post:

Second by your solution directliy in the page:

Nothing works…

Also the pictures in the Gallery-Section (Backend) shown in the wrong order.

Edit: If i insert a gallery in a page or post, all works fine.
The problem only occurs with gallery groups.

Dear @litusail,

Sorry for this belated response.

You have “Order by” dropdown list in the galleries so you can choose the order.

If you want the list to show Filename, you should set it from the options.

Yes, the “Order by” dropdown list is activated because of the incorrect sorting in the galleries.

I try exactly the same procedure as shown by you in the video, but ist doesn’t works:

Thx for the response and help.

Since the last update (version 1.5.49) two days ago, the sort order works as intenden.

Problem is solved :).
