Sharable Animated Gif

We tried checking the page at http://imsc-services.com/imsc-engage to review the Open Graph image and it’s settings, but the page is returning a 404 status. Can you please provide us with an example link?

Regarding the file size, an Open Graph image can be up to 8mb, so that shouldn’t be creating an issue. You can review the requirements of Open Graph images for Facebook here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/webmasters/images/

@desmetsbertrand Thanks for providing a new link. We checked on the page at https://argos-solutions.com/argos-solutions/ and do see that the Yoast SEO plugin is outputting the og:image tag as the following:

We also confirmed that the values are being read in the Facebook sharing debugger here. However, it looks like that Facebook will by default turn animated .gif files as static. There does appear to be a workaround, but it requires you to set the og:url value to that of the animated .gif file, meaning the same value as that the og:image is using.
