Invoice contains some random characters

    Hello,

    I have been testing woocommerce pdf invoices & packing slips for a while now. But since few days all the invoices and packing slips I’m generating contain random characters. I’m unable to use the plugin anymore. I tried restoring the backup I had, but no luck. Please help me solve it.

    That is unfortunate. Did you customize the template in any way or do you use code snippets/custom code that can explain this behaviour?

    Is it possible for you to upload a screenshot of (part of) an invoice that contains these characters via a service like: https://imgbb.com/

    Hi Kluver,
    Yes I did customize the template for its size and to add one custom field according to the plugin documentation. But I did not have any problems when I made the changes. I’m facing the problems now. The link to the sample invoice image is: https://ibb.co/4tq7Q10
    The entire invoice contains random characters as in the image.

    Thanks for sharing that screenshot. It looks like the font files may not have been installed correctly. Can you reinstall the fonts by going to the Status tab in the PDF invoice settings and then clicking the “Reinstall fonts” button?

    Let us know if that indeed resolves the issue!
