Community Site – Approving User Articles

I’m trying to set up a technology and games webzine that allows users to contribute news. I’m having trouble with this though. The site is up and running and everything works fine but I can’t find a setting to allow users to post articles.

Currently when a user registers they are allowed to post comments and that is all. I want them to be allowed to post articles which are then added to the moderation queue for me and the other moderators to approve, edit and publish or discard.

Is there a way of doing this? I searched but couldn’t find any help.
