[Plugin: Welcome Pack] Fatal Error with BP1.1

    Upon activation sitewide get fatal error; partially works but still sends out activation email even though told it not to, and that activation email breaks at activation link, so user can not activate account. When used with main WPMU blog user does not receive username & pw email; when used with sub blog user does receive same broken activation email AND username & pw email.

    Anyone else having same problem ?

    Hi

    I think this is a bug with BuddyPress 1.1 and not Welcome Pack. Are you able to upgrade to BuddyPress 1.1.1 and test again?

    Btw I do not read these forums often so you are welcome to send me a message over on http://buddypress.org or post on the BuddyPress forums. 🙂

    Thanks DJP, yep I upgraded to 1.1.1 same thing. I scooted over to BuddyPress forums and re-posted this there, from now on I’ll check that thread. Here’s a repeat of my post over there:

    I am also having problems with Welcome Pack. BP1.1 & BP1.1.1 same problem, WPMU2.8.4a. Fatal error on activation of the plugin, though it mostly works here’s what I get:
    Register a user as admin in dashboard, select “skip confirmation”. Sends out confirmation anyhow, and email dies at activation link. I do get all other welcome pack emails except:
    If sent from main WPMU blog don’t get the email that states username & pw
    If sent from sub blog do get the email that states username & pw
    Both tests have the same confirmation email that shouldn’t be sent that dies at activation link.

    Hope you got some help over at the BuddyPress forums. I think we identified this as a BuddyPress issue, make a post if you’re still stuck.
