I’ve tried disabling and re-enabling the plugin, as well as deleting wordfence including deleting the tables/data and then reinstalling. I’ve also tried running:
    WFAD.ajax('wordfence_wfcentral_disconnect', {}, function() {});
in the console in browser developer tools on the Wordfence Dashboard page. The site is still saying that it is managed by a different user account each time I try to add it to Wordfence Central.

  • Hey @ccpau,

Are you able to share the URL so I can check the license status?

    Thanks,

    Hey @ccpau,

Can you try reconnecting to Central from the Wordfence plugin dashboard versus the Central dashboard and let me know if it helps? If this doesn’t help, I’ll bump the developers for their thoughts.

    Thanks,

I’ve tried to connect from the dashboard and I’m still getting the same “This site is managed by a different user account, can not add this site to your account.” message.

    Hey @ccpau,

Is the email you’re using for Central an email for an admin on the site? If not, can you please add an admin with the email used on Central and let me know if it helps?

Also, are you willing to share your Wordfence username? I’ve found the site in our system and I can double-check to make sure it’s assigned to the correct user.

    Thanks,

I’ve changed the email used for my admin on the site to be the same as the email I’m using for central.

Wordfence username is ccpau. It’s entirely possible that the site is assigned to another admin.

    Hey @ccpau,

It does seem that’s it’s connected to a different account. Are you familiar with an admin user beginning with benwXXX? This is the Wordfence account that it’s currently connected to Central with.

    Thanks,

    Hey @ccpau,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved.

Please feel free to open another thread if you’re still having issues with Wordfence.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
