[Plugin: WP Super Cache] No changes showing after adding a direct page – help!!

I’d been using super-cache for a few days but didn’t notice much of a difference in speed. I have a very photo-heavy site and only need the index page to load quickly as every photo links to an outside url. I added my main page as a directly cached file – and it sped it up tremendously! I was extremely happy – until I removed the page so that it would update with the new posts I’d added – now they’re NOWHERE to be found. Then suddenly it caused my whole site to crash; I contacted my host who said there was an extra # sign in my .htaccess file and they removed it – voila! – my site was back up. However, the two posts I added are still nowhere to be found. I uninstalled then reinstalled super-cache – still nothing. I moved a couple of posts around, then cleared the cache, both in my browser and in the plugin, and still no changes show.

PLEASE HELP – I’M AT A LOSS!!
