When wordfence is enabled I get an error message like the one below for any post with an image attached. Disable wordfence and the system works fine. Is there a setting I’ve turned?

  • Hi @burns58063,

This seems to be caused by Wordfence blocking an endpoint used by Jetpack. Can you try these steps:

    1. Go into Wordfence -> Firewall -> All Firewall Options
    2. Set the Firewall Status to Learning Mode
    3. Try to post with an image attached
    4. Go back and set the firewall back to enabled

Same issue with it set to learning mode… get an email with the forbidden attachment message about 20 seconds after post arrives on the site

    Hi again,

This might be caused by conflicting features within both plugins. Can you disable Protect within Jetpack and see if that works?
