Domainpointer doesnt work although site is there

    Hi

    I have installed wordpress in a folder on my host with a domainpointer towards it at Teddybjorn.se
    The site works fine if you go to the sub-folder at http://mandalay.se/teddybjorn but if you go directly to teddybjorn.se I get this error:

    Index of /

    * .ftpquota
    * cgi-bin/

    Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.7a Phusion_Passenger/2.2.4 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at teddybjorn.se Port 80

    Does anyone know why this happens?

    The strange thing is that I moved another site exactly the same way (varande.com) and that site works just fine although it is on the same server, with a domain pointer exactly made the same way. So I do believe there is something wrong with this installation only.

    add this to your root .htaccess

    DirectoryIndex index.php index.html

    Hi

    It didn’t work.
    Can I add it anywhere in the file and exactly as it is?

    If it is something with the root .htaccess, why doesn’t it affect my other installations?

    I found the problem.
    The domainpointer I set up was pointing to the directory teddybjorn.se instead of just teddybjorn

    So there was no problem with the .htaccess file 🙂
