Hi Niclas,
Hi, I have the problem, that the customer notes, which the customer is making during the order process will not show up at all in the confirmation mails.
I’ve seen plugins/ themes block those order notes from showing properly, so a conflict test is the first thing to do here.
First, you’ll want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then test. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you. If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one to see where the issue is coming from. If you don’t want to test on your live site, then create a staging site using a plugin called WP Staging.
Best,
Ross
Hi Ross,
thank you very much for your response. Is there any possibility to add a shortcode, which is overwriting the current settings?
I think this would be much easier.
Best Regards
Niclas

Hi again,
Is there any possibility to add a shortcode, which is overwriting the current settings?
Unfortunately, unless you’re using an extension like AutomateWoo or Follow Ups to generate those emails, it’s not as easy as adding a shortcode, I’m afraid to say, so finding the offending plugin or theme would probably be best.
Let us know how it goes!

Hi @tatennis,
We haven’t heard from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions!
Best,
