Question about woocommerce subscriptions plugin

    Hey guys,

    I’m considering purchasing the Woocommerce subscriptions plugin and I just have a quick question about it.

    What I would like to do is create a subscription plan that offers an increasing discount each month the customer is subscribed. For example:

    1st month: customer pays full price (0% discount)
    2nd month: 5% discount on recurring price
    3rd month: 10% discount
    4rth month: 15% discount
    5th month: 20% discount
    6th month: 25% discount

    After 6 months the discount caps at 25%, and this discount is applied each month their subscription is still active. If they cancel their subscription their discount will reset back to 0% if they subscribe again in the future.

    Does the Woocommerce subscription plugin have the functionality to easily build this pricing system?

    Hello @vealta,

    That’s a fascinating setup you have in mind. You would not be able to create this with WooCommerce Subscriptions alone. It will do a great job providing automatic renewal payments for you.

    To handle the changing discounts, you will need to use AutomateWoo. It can change a coupon or product price based on the number of renewals. It’s a handy tool for making adjustments on a WooCommerce store and would be a good fit for this renewal scenario you have in mind.
