Static page meta description

    Hi,

    I have a question which is probably about a newbie’s struggling.

    My homepage is a static homepage and I also have an other language homepage (/en) handled by Polylang.

    I want to modify the meta description of my homepage (I’m trying with Rank Math) but since it’s a static page and moreover in 2 languages I can’t find where I should do this. These homepages don’t show in the pages menu of my dashboard.

    Sorry if the answer is obvious but I’ve searched on lots of websites/forums and still don’t understand how to achieve this.

    Hello,
    I’d recommend trying an SEO plugin compatible with multi-language sites.
    As a matter of fact, Nimble Builder won’t be of any help here 🙂

    Oh, I didn’t think it could be an issue with this multi-language setup, I thought it was only a static page issue.

    I’ve made more researches and Rank Math is compatible with multi-language sites. I can modify SEO informations for every pages apart from the second language’s homepage.

    If I hover the “Edit Page” option on every pages of my site, including the native language homepage, it shows the page ID. But not with the second language homepage because there is no “Edit Page” option on that specific page. So I’m still inclined to believe that tere is something wrong with nimble builder and static homepage (but I still could be mistaken).

    OK. What happens if your disable Nimble Builder ? Does it fix the issue ?

    If I disable everything but Nimble builder I don’t have the second language homepage anymore.

    If I disable everything but Polylang I’m stuck on the second language homepage and can’t go to the native language one (that is strange) because I don’t have the language switcher widget anymore.

    If I only enable Nimble builder and Polylang I get the 2 homepages back but still no “edit page” option on the second language one.
