We are using wp mail smtp plugin for our website. We are facing issue with getting emails in spam folder. We added DKIM and DMARC record also in DNS. So when we contacted gsuite support team, they told us to get email server or Static IP address of mail smtp plugin. Can you please provide the same.

below is the comment from WordPress support . Can you please provide the same

You will get the static IP address from the people providing your email service.
This 3rd party will be able to provide this, or are providing a name you are using in the send email settings, it probably starts either “smtp.thing” or “mail.thing”, this name will do or you can get the IP address by doing a ping on it.

    Hi @neethuanna03rocket,

I apologize but I am not sure I understand your question? What is the mailer you’re using in WP Mail SMTP? Whom do you mean by WordPress support? Probably they’re referring to the IP address of email service providers or the SMTP hostname example: smtp.gmail.com.

    Thanks!

mailer am using is Gmail.Wordpress support means, i asked the same question in wordpress support forum. So the support team replied like this. When we ping smtp.gmail.com in cmd, we got ip address as ‘173.194.222.108’ . Is it same .

    Hi @neethuanna03rocket,

Gmail mailer is different than the SMTP like smtp.gmail.com. If you’re still getting spams after setting up Gmail mailer, make sure you’ve set up DMARC, SPF, DKIM for your domain, check here. Domain reputation is the key to improving email deliverability. Please see the best practices to send emails.

    I hope this helps!

I already set up DMARC, DKIM and SPF based on my above comment.Based on your comment if gmail mailer is different than smtp.gmail.com, what may be for gmail mailer. To whom i can ask for this.sorry am not aware of this.

Even test mail from smtp also delivering in spam folder with a yellow header
    “Be careful with this message
Rocket Funn Mail could not verify that it actually came from rocketfunn.com. Avoid clicking links, downloading attachments, or replying with personal information.”

When i check my domain with above link you given dmarcian.com

I registered with dmarcian.com. So is it we have to update in DNS server value of DMARC , SPF based on the account of dmarcian?

Please regret above message. That one solve. Still in spam only

    Hi @neethuanna03rocket,

Thanks for the details. Are you getting the test emails from WP Mail SMTP > Email Test in the spam box as well? Could you please share the original email message from the spam box. Here’s a screenshot of the option to get an original message from the Gmail mailbox.

    Thanks!

Hi @neethuanna03rocket – We haven’t heard from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and mark this ticket resolved. If you still have questions, though, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
