connection required message doesn’t allow input – greyed out

I loaded wordpress to my network solutions host. I want to “Add New Themes” but when I try, I get a connection required message. It has a prefilled password but the hostname and username cannot be typed in (blank but not accepting the cursor). The FTP button can be checked and unchecked but that is all I can do. I also tried manually uploading a zip and the same thing happened.
