    i want to change WordPress permalink. i want to publish category based post. Can anybody help me to How to change without losing traffic.

    Hello @faruk33

    I’m not sure of a way to do that, I was under the impression that search engines will have incorrect information after you update your permalinks structure. This is beyond your control but maybe reaching to an SEO professional could help. I’d assume they might have some insight on this and how to avoid losing traffic as im sure this is happening regularly.

    There are 2 options to do that SEO friendly-the perfect is to do good permalinks at the beginning),but:

    -Redirect
    -Setup canonical page

    To choose the correct one you should provide more information-what is the purpose, do you have already organic traffic, how many posts will be changed…
