using events_list I get a empty code-tag as the first line.
This causes a space or a empty line in some circumstances.
    how can I supress this?

  • Hello,

Could We perhaps get a sample event link?

Please also try the following debugging method, To minimize possible plugin/theme conflict, Could you perhaps try and Install WP Safe Mode (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-safe-mode/)
    – Activate and Enable Safe Mode. Please make sure that on the settings a twenty series theme is selected.
    – When activated it would help you test as if the Website only plugin activated is EM (and Pro if you have) and twentyseries theme
    – After making sure that its working properly, You could start adding additional plugin on the list that is activated and test again until you see which plugin is causing the issue

    Thanks for your answer.

As I test localy, there is no possibility to send you a link concerning the issue.
If you have a upload-link I could provide a printscreen with the Inspector opened.

Meanwhile I went to my own theme and the issue does not exist there (even its a clone of twentyseventeen and twentyseventeen has the same behaviour).

Before I just activated the latest theme twentytwenty and the most recent WordPress.
There the issue was and still is present.

    Hi timrv

after reeserchig the issue I found the reason.

Probalby by copying the code for the Eventlist from your page, I copied the code + endcode-tag too. So after deleting it in WP-html-editor the space disapeared.

So I regard this as solved.
    Thanks anyway
    Markus
