    I am trying to create a WPForm for users to submit entries to TEC (primarily using this article: https://wpforms.com/create-a-user-submitted-events-calendar-in-wordpress/ )

    I’m using one of the comments to use “Published” as a criterion, so that I don’t have to manually approve calendar entries).

    I can create the form, submit the event, and have the event show up in the admin panel. However, the event doesn’t appear on the actual calendar.

    If I simply edit the Event, and Update it (making no changes) it will appear on the calendar. Clearly something is missing that the submission adds. Looking at the database for differences between Events added from the Admin panel, and those added from the WPForm, I’ve tried adding all the fields (both in WPForms, and in the database directly), but they still don’t appear on the calendar until I Edit them. Then they work.

    Any idea what I’m missing?
