    Hi Folks,

    We receive the error in the WP Dashboard:

    Can NOT find LSCWP path for object cache initialization in /wp-content/object-cache.php

    /wp-content/object-cache.php exists.

    Help appreciated.

  • Hi @insightdes, could you check is /wp-content/ folder writable?

    Hi Stanley, yes it is CHMOD to 755 already.

    Hi @insightdes, could you try to reinstall LiteSpeed Cache and turn ON object cache again to see does /wp-content/.object-cache.ini created?

    (Before you reinstall please Export Settings on Menu > Import/Export)

    Yes, .object-cache.ini is created.

    Is the error message still there? If yes please add the following code on row 37 of plugins/litespeed-cache/lib/object-cache.php (after $err = '...' ;):

    if ( ! $lscwp_dir ) $err .= ' Missing ls dir' ;
    if ( ! file_exists( $data_file ) ) $err .= ' Missing data file' ;
    if ( ! file_exists( $lib_file ) ) $err .= ' Missing lib_file 1' ;
    if ( ! file_exists( $lib_file2 ) ) $err .= ' Missing lib_file 1' ;

    and check the error message again and to see which file is missing.

    Hi Stanley,

    I have made no further changes to the website, and the error is gone.

    Cheers,
    Steve
