Blank Admin Page

    When we go to use the metaslider plugin we only get a blank screen with the wordpress menu on the left. I tried deactivating all the other plugins on the site and refreshing but it still did not show up. I tried rolling back updates and that did not work either. I also cleared my cache/cookies and all the ones of the site/host. I also disabled and reenabled Cloudflare. Still nothing.

    Can you please help me figure out what going on? Details below:

    The preview works: No
    It works with other themes: Haven’t Tried (because we are currently selling event tickets it’s pretty hard for me to switch the themes and not cause problems for our members.) Using Mesmerize Pro Version 1.6.112
    It works when I disable all other plugins: No
    Meta Slider version: 3.15.3
    Theme footer has correct code added.

    Update, I figured out how to put the site into troubleshooting mode so that the admin account is able to switch themes but the site users don’t see the change. Switching to twenty nineteen didn’t change anything. I used the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin to do this.

    Hi,

    Those errors make me think some code got cut off while installing the plugin. Can you rule that out by deleting it and installing it again? Maybe upload it via FTP?

    Can you try in an incognito browser? It could be a browser extension acting up as well.

    Doing it in incognito mode worked. I can see the admin area again when I go to the page. It’s a little strange though because it’s happening for other admins as well. Could it be something in Chrome? I very much doubt that both of us have the same extensions.

    To test I first turned off all third party extensions. And after reloading the admin screen it came up. So I turned them on one at a time. My guess is it’s Honey that’s causing the problem. I’ll see if our other admin using that extension too. Appreciate the quick reply. Thank you!

    Hi @thetechchef

    Try clearing the browser cache and see if that makes a difference.

    You can also disable an extension for a moment and see.

    If you think it’s Honey can you send me the Chrome store URL for that extension? I’ll try and see if it’s something I can adjust on our end to make the two work together.
