Firstly, thank you for the time you put into this plugin.

A customer of mine made a purchase in the Shetland Islands and the location it picked up was the ‘Scottish Borders’

    User Address:
    Mid Yell
    Shetland
    Scotland / Scottish Borders
    ZE2 9BN

How do I ensure this doesn’t happen again?

Glad the plugin is useful for you.

I’m not sure I understand the problem. Doesn’t happen what?

Shetland Island is not in the region of Scottish borders.

I have Shetland Island unticked in my carriage so it should not allow the user to make and order with delivery to that location, however, it is picking up that ‘Shetland’ is within the additional shipping zones category you call ‘Scotland / Scottish Borders’ so it accepted the order.

The plugin adds two distinctive “states” to WooCommerce:
    1. Scotland / Scottish Borders
    2. Scotland / Shetland Isles

A customer can’t choose both of them. It seems in your case, the customer chose ‘Scotland / Scottish Borders’ as the state, and typed in ‘Shetland’ in the City field.

The plugin doesn’t check City and postcodes to match against country and state selected by a customer.
