I have set up the gallery to my likes, with a single gallery.

When i click at a single image in the gallery, then the single image opens in the same window. But when i press the back button in the browser, then it goes not back to the gallery page. I am stuck at the single image now. It refreshes the image instead of going backwards. I need to open the browser history and choose the latest link from there then. Or manually click at the gallery link in the menu

It’s no biggie, but is this a known issue?

Did you untick Table IV-A7: Update addressline?

If you keep it ticked, the browser history stack will be updated with the single image instance, keeping the possibility to go back in history to the thumbnail vieuw by means of the browser back button.

If you untick it, the most recent browser history stack item is overwritten by the single image instance, i.e. destroying the thumbnail view instance.

Alternatively, you can disable Ajax in Table IV-A1.0, but that affects the user experience and will inhibit certain functionality.

Ah, wonderful, many thanks Jacob. It now goes back to home, and jumps over the gallery, but the user isn’t trapped anymore. That does the trick 🙂

It’s so much settings, it needs time to learn everything. Thanks for your help with that and thanks for your wonderful plugin 🙂

    Kind regards

This smells like a MS Edge bug, try Firefox.

Vivaldi here. But yes, that’s the same engine than Edge and Chrome. You can’t avoid the big player Chromium nowadays. But as told, no biggie 🙂
