adding javascript for ads

    I am trying to add scripting for an in-text advertising service, but just can’t seem to find the right place to insert the line of code. I assumed it best to put it just above the body close tag in the footer to keep it from hanging pages, but it doesn’t work. Status bar shows it is being read, but no ads. Any suggestions as to what file to place it in?

    It depends upon what the code does and how your theme is constructed.

    Try adding it to your sidebar.
