    Hi there.

I’ve just tried your plugin and have to say it’s a great tool – thank you very much!
I am curious if it’s possible to search media by parent’s permalink (or it’s part). Let’s say i have a post that has 3 images attached, I would like to put post’s permalink in the search field to find these 3 images. Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Alex.

Thanks for the positive feedback and for your question.

There is no “parent permalink” search option in the current MLA version, but you can use the parent’s ID value to find all the items attached to it.

The easiest way to find the ID value for a post, page or custom post type is to go to the Posts/All Posts submenu table and hover over the “Edit” link in the Title column. The ID value is part of the URL, in the post= query argument.

You can enter the ID value (or several values separated by spaces or commas) in the Media/Assistant Search Media text box. All of the items attached to those ID(s) will be displayed in a filtered table.

I hope you find the parent ID search feature useful for your application. I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have any problems or further questions regarding the above suggestions. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
