When my cloudfront CDN is running, all the links to blog posts from the post grid link to the CDN’s address, not my site’s address, resulting in 404 errors.
The regular WP recent posts have no issues, only what is inside the Elementor Addons Post Grid.
    Any help?

Can I get a link to the page? We use CloudFront for our demo site and have no such issues. No one else has reported this so far.

notice the subdomain in the grid links vs not in the sidebar recent posts

Can I know the plugin that you use for connecting the site to the CDN? We will do some testing from our side and see how this works.

The code (get_permalink() method) we use is a standard one and hence I do not see why that would cause the URLs to point to CloudFront.

@livemesh thanks a lot for your attention.
We are using the official AWS for WordPress plugin.

    Following up on this…
As of today, Jetpack emailed me saying the AWS for WordPress plugin caused a fatal error, so I had to turn it off. I assume a new version will be out soon.

In the meantime, it’d be really cool if you guys could show some screen shots of what behaviors you have set up in your Cloudfront distribution.

I’m getting different settings suggested from different sites, and often, the instructions are from older/differnt Cloudfront interface.

Meanwhile, I know you guys are using the current version and your post grid is working, so your Cloudfront settings would be helpful for me to know.

I am sorry for the confusion. I see that we are using Cloudflare and NOT CloudFront. We use WPRocket for configuring the same and so far it has been working well.

WP Recent Posts and our grid utilizes similar methods to fetch URLs – get_permalink() and the_permalink() and I am not sure why things would be different with our plugin.

I have signed up for AWS and will check and report back on my findings.

We did send you at least two replies through the Helpscout asking for credentials to your server since we are unable to setup the server on our side. Can you pls check your spam folder on whether you received any email regarding the ticket open by you? Thanks.

We sent an email again asking for help in reproducing the issue. I did copy another email address provided by you. So, hopefully you will see the reply this time. Thanks
