    Hi, your plugin is very simple but super useful, I use in the church website to show daily quotes 😉 but I have one question:

    It’s possible to show the Daily Quotes page (in the admin area) as a single element in the admin bar?

    Like Pages that you have Add Page, All Pages, etc.

    So for example you could transform the ugly menu and all the small text of the page in multiple page like:

    Daily Quotes
    – All Daily Quotes
    – Add Daily Quote (content day check in the new quote page)
    – Settings (Tabs: Style, Help, What is new)

    If it’s done in a style like wordpress admin page would be super nice!

    Also how can i enable that the user group “Editor” can edit and create new daily quotes? I don’t like get them the administrator power, it’s could be very nice a check box in the setting that you can enable edit quotes for editor, autor, etc. This is at the moment the real problem, the other thing is just an idea of improvment.

    Hello,

    I am glad you like the plugin.

    That is an interesting idea about allowing Editors (per a checkbox) make changes. I have that option with other plugins. I’ll add that to the list of features to code as it should be an option.

    As per the UI changes I’ll look over the interface but not sure if I’ll make any changes. Still I’ll think about it. Thanks for the suggestion!

    Oh thanks for your quick reply.

    At the moment i’m still creating the website but in the future the option for editor would be awesome to have.

    For the UI it’s just my idea, because if i’m going to enable an editor i have to create a detailed guide to edit the list of quotes, because I think that the interface it’s a little mess with texts and links all over the place. It would be nice to have a clean interface that’s it. Feel free to mantein that as it is right now.

    Thanks. Email sent. I wanted to come here in case it got caught by your email filters. I have already made a few mods but the editors part still works the same. I will say the text says editors can’t edit settings that isn’t correct as I took that copy from another plugin. However editors can NOT remove admins but can remove/add other editors.

    I have released the updated version 2.8. It contains the updated theme and editor access. I consider this matter resolved.
