h1 conditional hack makes single post display wierd

So I just did the Seo h1 tag hack described here

When on a single post page, the blog post title is wrapped in h1 tag(good) and the blog name in <span>. However, now the blog name on the header is messed up when viewing on a single post page like this.

Also, if you highlight the text on that page (beat-test-page) you’ll also notice that the post title is “invisible” directly above the post content (probly just white?).

So… is there an easy fix for the blog name problem and “invisible” post title?
