Google Analytics wrong UA number

I have entered the correct UA google analytics number in the google analytics plug in, but the first digit still shows a 1 on my site instead of a 4. I have tried to edit it in the plug in, but it won’t change. i have tried to find the number in the source code, but I can’t find it. Can anyone tell me the file name and the path to find the UA number in the source code.
