Hi coroleu,
I’m not sure why that would be off the top of my head.
Does the video widget work if you place it directly into a normal sidebar/widget area? Please can you post a link to your site so I can take a look?

Tom
Hi
Check “VIKING ARM” menu item. I put the video twice, one with your video element using URL (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/aur7p6ejecgnzef/delparque-cafe.mp4) and the other using [video] wordpress shortcode. With your video element directly doesnt show anything and with shortcode it shows me the video correctly but it doesn’t work for me because when you exit the menu it keeps playing (with the video element it pauses)

Hi coroleu,
I see your locally hosted video is playing OK.
Does the dropbox video widget work if you add it to a standard widget area (outside of the menu)?

Hi,
Like i said on last message, i use dropbox URL video on wordpress video shortcode inside mega menu and works fine (is working right now, https://prnt.sc/q8besk)
The problem is when i try to use the same url video on your video element using URL…
PS: I dont use any plugin/widget to show dropbox video, im just using dropbox video URL on wordpress shortcode video [video].
Thanks

Hi coroleu,
I understand what you’re doing, but I need to see if the video widget works as expected outside of the menu itself. I.e. I need to find out if it is a general issue with the media widget, or if it is one specific to MMM.
Please try adding the media widget to one of your sidebar areas – e.g. a post sidebar or your footer maybe – does it work there?

Tom
Hi again,
You right, i think is WordPress bug. I use video widget with URL and with twenty template and doesnt work…It’s a shame. I tried with another video URL and doesnt work either
Is really bad because i dont want to use my hosting to get my videos. I can use youtube videos but in cannot manage pause when im out from menu… he still play.
Any another idea?

Hi coroleu,
Try a YouTube video inside the Video widget (just paste the YouTube URL into it)? I think that might work. If not, I don’t think you will have much option but to host the video yourself.

Tom
