Fatal error – invalid order with WooCommerce Pre-Orders

    Hi,

    I’m using WooCommerce alongside with the plugin WooCommerce Pre-Orders. When I open the e-mail customizer I receive the following error. When I deactivate the pre-orders plugin the e-mail customizer works fine. However, I need to be able to use the two plugins together. Can you help with this issue?

    Additional information: This only happens when the Mockup Order is being previewed as Preview Order. When I choose an actual order the preview works fine.

    Thanks for posting,

    Yes, any time you get an error in the customizer it’s best to preview with a real order. I know of one other third party plugin that won’t function with a mockup order. It’s because those plugins are looking for specific data that would be in the orders data once they are installed.

    Hey,

    thanks for your reply. Would it be possible to implement an integration with the Pre-Orders plugin, so I can also preview and customize the pre-order mails with the email designer?

    Thanks for your suggestion for feature integration. I’ll take it into consideration.
    There are a lot of third-party emails that we could support and some plugin authors are easy to work with and others not so much. I try and reach out to authors of premium plugins where we would need to get access to the code to make integration possible. WooCommerce Premium marketplace hasn’t wanted to make this possible, unfortunately. Even still I”ve added support for Subscriptions and waitlist, but since I’ve one-sided I don’t have many from Woocommerce Premium marketplace that is on my upcoming list of new integrations.
