    Hello,

I am trying your plugin on a fresh WordPress Droplet. After installation, when I click Activate, it throws up a Forbidden error page. It’s the same result when trying to access the plugin’s settings.

PS: In case, it helps – other plugins activate just fine. I tried this to rule our potential ModSecurity conflicts.

    Any pointers to resolve this?

    Kind regards,

Thanks for the quick reply. Here’s the error message:

    Update:

I just noticed the Export & Import settings page opens just fine. The problem remains with settings and Backup & Restore menu options though.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update!

We have never encountered this error before. We guess this could be related to your server configuration. Is there any way you could provide us a temporary admin account of the website(send it to support(at)wpvivid.com) to help troubleshoot the issue?

    Thank you.

Curious: Does the plugin use XMLRPC?

    It doesn’t use XMLRPC.

    Thank you.

I am trying to troubleshoot this on the server and suspect a ModSecurity conflict.

Does your plugin use Rest API endpoint?

    Hello @backpackingseries
I’m trying to troubleshoot the problem too on our DO droplet.
Our plugin doesn’t use REST API endpoint.
Honestly, it’s a strange problem, I can’t reproduce the situation you mentioned.

Thank you for your kind support.

There is a conflict with ModSecurity installation – audit log file indicates a false positive on CRS rule number 930120 (=[ OS File Access ]=-), details here.

In the interest of time on this project (and because I cannot get rid of ModSec), I need to try something else. Thank you again for your support.

Glad to hear you figured out the problem, I will check this app to see why there is a conflict between them, thank you so much:)
