Automatic Upgrade help

    Hi all, I am having a problem using the automatic upgrade feature. It ask me for a hostname, user name, and password and the connection type is ftp. does anyone know how I can use the automatic feature to upgrade and also to install plugins? I would appreciate the help

    its seems that the info is wrong. When I am in my wordpress, its asking me to upgrade to 2.8.. and I click it, then it give me 2 selection, automatic install and manual install. I click automatic and it ask me for information; the hostname, username, and password. I am stuck and dont know what I am doing wrong

    This is the error im getting: Error: There was an error connecting to the server, Please verify the settings are correct.

    You need to enter the exact ftp access credentials as provided to you by your host. You might want to check with them if what you have isn’t working.
