Pending Order Payment Empty Cart

    Hi!

    Im struggling with orders that are set as pending payment (awaiting payment).
    The part of doing adding an order is not a problem, this goes as supposed.
    But, when we use the customer payment link in admin orders or use the supplied link within the email…after going through the first step we land on the checkout page, which says that the cart is empty.

    I installed WordPress theme Twenty Nineteen and still the issue is there.

    Does this issue happen with only WooCommerce active along with the default Twenty Nineteen theme?

    If so, can you please send a direct link to a product to add to the cart so I can see this behaviour with only WooCommerce active.

    Hi Amanda!

    Thank you so much for assisting me. I have disabled ALL other plugins only having WooCommerce and twenty nineteen active. If I use Payment via cheque or pay at delivery, it works without trouble. Maybe its the payment suppliers plugin that is causing this problem… Is there any other way to reach the checkout page after step one?

    What is the payment gateway that is being used at checkout? I am just wondering why the payment isn’t happening right away at checkout and instead the customer is being emailed for the payment to be taken.

    We have a payment gateway through a plugin.

    There is nothing wrong with the emails and the link.
    On the page there is two steps. First the part to agree on the conditions.
    The next is where the payment should occur, but it says the basket is empty.

    Hi @amc11,

    To clarify, you’ve manually created an order in WooCommerce for a customer. Then you are selecting the Customer payment page link from within wp-admin?

    I think one of two things are happening if so. Normally, if the order you’ve created is assigned to a different Customer account than the one you are logged into you aren’t able to use that link. This should happen like this no matter the payment method used, you’ll see an error that says, “This order cannot be paid for. Please contact us if you need assistance.”

    The odd thing in your case is that it sounds like the checkout process is broken up into two steps? The first page makes you agree to the terms and conditions and the second would normally be where you enter your payment details. If that’s also correct, do you know if your theme or a plugin splits up the checkout process into those pages?

    Either way, it’d be helpful to have your system status report. 🙂

    You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Im currently using Twenty Nineteen theme for testing.
    It splits it up in two parts. If i use pay by cheque

    Thank you for providing the System Status Report. It appears as though you are using a 3rd party developed plugin to accept payments on your site DIBS Easy för WooCommerce: av Krokedil – 1.12.0

    I would recommend testing the checkout and payments without this plugin active. If the payments process correctly without that plugin active (which I suspect they will), then you will want to reach out to the developers of the plugin for further help with this.
