password box is locked

    Hi there,

    I cannot login to my website (www.thegirlonthemove.com) as the password box is locked, and won’t let me click on it. How do I resolve this?

    Hi @vd0792,

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    I’m having the same problem. Password box is locked when trying to log into my dashboard. I can wether click into it nor tab-jump to it. Everything worked fine two days ago.

    Edit: Ok, I managed to get in via my WordPress.com-Account. I’ve updated the Akismet-Plugin and can now log into my dashboard without a problem.
