    Hi, I’d like to know if there are general form styling options beyond styling options field by field. Or, is it just recommended to just something like edit style.css?

    There are no specific styling settings. If you want to change many styles you should probably strive for a custom theme file (details in readme.txt). Otherwise the things you mentioned.
