GAM integration, static / dynamic values

    I’m looking into using this plugin and am needing some additional information on integration with GAM and the ability to use dynamic values for tracking.

    1. Does this plugin allow both dynamic and static key-values from GAM to be passed into all ad units?

    2. Would we be able to track dynamic values based on article category as well as the article slug itself?

    Hi sbyce,

    thanks for reaching out.

    Advanced Ads would not add any dynamic GAM-values automatically.

    I have helped a client some time ago to add post categories as key/value to GAM tags. I documented the basic steps in this tutorial. I hope this helps.

    GAM is a complex software and I am sure I don’t know all of it so I would not guarantee for “ANY”. The tutorial should give you an idea of the basics. If you are using it then it would be good if you understand it as well in case something doesn’t work as expected. When you understand it then you should be able to extend it as well.
