    Hi

How do I change the formatting of the Checkout Page. I don’t want to change FIELDS just the positioning.

I see it depends on which Theme I am using as to the display of the Checkout Page.

If I use Storefront, then it has the Billing & Delivery details on the left hand column and the Order Details on the right column which is exactly how I like it.

If I use other Themes, the formatting in the Checkout changes, and seems to be defaulted to Billing on the left side and then the Delivery on the right side. AND Underneath it has the Order details. I assume this is a Woocommerce default view.

I would prefer the option that Storefront shows in its view, but I assume I will be able to change a TEMPLATE somewhere for the Checkout to get the “ORDER DETAILS” to display in the 2nd colunn and ALL Billing/Delivery details on the first column. I don’t always use Storefront theme, so I have another Theme that I like but it doesn’t show the foramtting of the Checkout that I prefer.

Could someone help me to achieve this please ?
So it has the Billing & Delivery details on the left hand column and the Order Details on the right column which is exactly how I like it. Then this displays properly on the IPAD also and looks better on the IPAD in this format.

    Regards
    Kristin

  • Too much custom work is involved and it is out of support scope. May be you will hire a developer for it.

    Hi,

    I understand.

Could you confirm whether the Woocommerce plugin default layout for Checkout is Billing & Delivery details on the left and Order details on the right OR is it the Theme people who develop and change this layout from the original Woocommerce plugin ?

As the Woocommerce plugin works with many different Themes I wasn’t sure which way it worked.

Then I can locate the correct template myself and make changes at my end.

    Hi

Wasn’t very much custom work at all actually. I managed to find the template and changed things in there. So wouldn’t pay the developer as I’m usually developing websites. I usually don’t have to change the Checkout sections previously.

All working perfectly. It took 15 minutes altogether to work out.
