I have installed a free version of the plugin but the icons are not floating instead, they stay in a fixed position. Kindly assist

It is most likely a conflict with your theme.

Could you please try this plugin (also free) https://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-social-media-plus instead?

It was working before but after updating wordpress, its now in a fixed position. Could be a wordpress update plugin conflict?

It could be, we’ll have to investigate.

Please also check if you have a cache plugin installed. If so, please disable it temporarily and check if it’s ok now
