I keep getting fake users, why is this? What are these people trying to achive?
I have tried to install some kind of Captcha but doesn’t seem to work?Can anyone help?

You could try this security plugin. It helps to prevent the problem you having right now. You can customize your login path too! Instead of /wp-admin/ but /admin-login/ so on and so forth. For more details you can visit the website below.
