Ah yes, sorry about this. W3 Total Cache does not add expires for .mp3
You should add rules outside of W3 Total Cache rules. Something like this:

## EXPIRES MP3 ##

ExpiresByType audio/mp3 “access plus 1 year”
## EXPIRES MP3 ##
